play ball July 12, 2009

Filed under: creations, quicktuz — pattichurch @ 11:50 am

Catie is on a health kick and decided that we all should play softball.  So Melissa, Mike and I went along for the laughs, oh wait I mean ride.  I told them that I was going to be the team photographer but the insisted that I play.  So I hit the ball and yes I did hit it a time or two, but I did not pitch or play the outfield.

here it is the long awaited layout June 16, 2009

Filed under: creations, quicktuz — pattichurch @ 6:11 pm

This year I decided to so a layout per person for christmas.  There are just too many photos to try and get one layout for them all so  this way everyone can have a special page.  My goal is to also have the person do their own journaling. (we’ll see how that goes)

pirates May 20, 2009

have a special place in my heart.  Years ago while at the lake over the 4th of July my husband, brother and 2 cousins while out fishing decided that they were going to quit their jobs and become pirates.  Now keep in mind that one of them is the ceo of a company, one is a financial adviser, one a computer programmer and one is a truck driver.  Once they came back and told the wives their plans they somehow changed their minds.  Not sure how that happened but it was a fun dream job while it lasted.

Here is another layout from my Disney trip

since Rick was not going to be home, I brought scrapbooking stuff home to work on and I managed to get 2 pages semi completed.  All I have to do is add titles when I get to work and have access to my Quickutz.  (they are just t heavy to carry back and forth)

egg dyeing April 22, 2009

Filed under: creations, quicktuz — pattichurch @ 1:10 pm

is a family tradition in our house, however since Hannah didn’t come home for Easter this she dyed eggs at school with Dave.  Now I’m not sure if Dave was on board or Hannah made him do it.  But by the pictures he seemed to have a good time.

purchased something with the thought of giving it away and then when it is time to give it away you keep it for yourself.  Well I can say that happened to me today.

Hannah collects big h’s that she decorates and hangs on her wall’s in her room at home and her dorm room.  So I was shopping at JoAnn Fabric and came across this huge H and thought about buying it for an Easter gift but decided it was to big to ship.  As I was shopping I was talking to Rick on the phone and he convinced me to get it and ship it anyway.  So I picked it up with the intention of shipping it to Michigan unfinished.  Well today I decided to decorate it and one thing led to another it turned out so cute that I decided to keep it for myself and send her the other stuff I got her, minus the huge H  Sorry Hannah, but I will let you look at the next time you are home.

they are almost done, and I can honestly say I am greatful for this.  When I started it was a blast to relive the trip with my photos and layouts.  However as the time wears on they are becoming more of a burden then a joy.  I loved the trip and I love reliving it with the photos but I just want them to be scrapped.
