This layout I did awhile ago, the first picture is from March when Hannah and I went to visit Ferris State, and then the other one is when we went back for Registration/Orientation.  I think my daughter has her first crush

Not sure who the patterned paper is, but the solid is colormates.  The burger is quickutz, as is the scalloped heart.  The font is Cloud Nine “foil trimmed alphas”,  I used the “threading water” punch from Fiskars

Chatter August 15, 2008

Well today our Catie is 20.  Where does the time go.  As she was getting ready for work this morning I wished her a Happy Birthday, and she asked if I felt old.  And to tell you the honest truth, the girls aging has always made me feel old.  Not so much my age cause lets face it we all strive to “age”, but the fact they our girls are now 18 and 20, is incredible to me.  They have come such a long way and I guess to some degree it is the fact that they will be leaving home soon.  Believe me there are days that that wont come soon enough, but then there are days that I never want it to come.   Enough of that cause it is making me sad.  I just want to wish Catie a great day, and I hope you get all that you deserve.

Also a post wouldn’t be complete without letting you know that there are only 11 days until Hannah goes off to school.  Our house is all a buzz with packing and making sure she has all the right stuff.  We are trying to address all the questions that come up,

loft or no loft?  how many purses do I bring?  do I need an umbrella I never use one now?  the list says a flashlight, what will I need that for?  What about a robe, I don’t have one at home why will I need one?  and the list goes on and on.

She has found her roommate and they seem to get along quite well.  I do wish her the best and am going to miss her tons.

Have a great weekend and go do something fun.
