So when I set out to start this blog, I asked 2 of my great friends Lisa Pace and Stephenie Hamen for some tips and their opionions. Stephenie told me to just keep it real and talk about the things that you love. Well for those of you that know me they will agree with the fact that I LOVE QUICKUTZ. Now to say that I have a few would be like saying “the wind in Chicago only blows a little”. I have been known to say “Quickutz are better then a husband”, to which my wonderful husband just laughs at me. Most every page that I do has a Quickutz on it somewhere.

My husband and I spent the day in Galena just walking around and hanging out together. That is quite a treat for us, since our schedules are so crazy.
The background paper is bazzil bling, the bird is maya road chipboard, the flowers are fancy pants big boards that I painted and glittered. title Quickutz snowday. I also used a quickutz for the leaves on the flowers.

For those of you that know me you know that I am the slowest cropper in the world. It takes me forever (at least 2 sittings) to create a double page layout, well I just have to tell you that I started and finished a double layout while at work yesterday. Just had to share them.
I used Heidi Grace paper for the page frame and also cut the flowers out of the paper for the accents, Quickutz for the title.
